get_ip_address() 

get_ip_address(ifname: str) -> str

Get ip address provided an interface name.

Warning

This function does not work on MacOS/Darwin.

Parameters:

  • ifname (str) –

    The interface name.

Returns:

  • str –

    The IP address.
